With Thanksgiving break comes football season, and with football comes a true Maggie Walker tradition: Powderpuff. This year, the Senior-Freshman team struggled against and ultimately lost to a strong Sophomore-Junior alliance in a 14-0 bout in front of an impressive fan turnout.  Standout Katherine Smith (‘20) led the offense of the Sophomores and Juniors to victory by contributing to two touchdowns, while the mainly Senior-led offense struggled to put points on the board.  Said head Coach Jack Herrmann (‘18) “We tried our best but the other team had us beat when it came to speed.”  The sophomores are proving to be the grade to watch and are looking very strong for another impressive showing next year.
